High School Theatre

Our High School Theatre Department exists to enrich and engage our students as they grow, develop, and explore their God-given talents in theatre. It is our goal to encourage and instruct our students in pursuing their very best in all preparatory practices, competitions, productions, and performances throughout the year. With class offerings in Theater, Technical Theater, and Theater Production, two main stage productions each year including a full spring musical, TAPPS One Act Play competition, and TAPPS speech competitions, there are many opportunities for our students to gain experience and grow while striving to glorify God by bringing excellent theatre to the city of San Antonio.

Middle School Theatre

Our middle school theatre department allows students to explore and try the world of the theatre in a low-threat environment. Our goal is for the students to discover their God-given talents whether that means on the stage or behind the scenes. We want them to learn how to use their bodies, voices, movement and more to communicate with an audience. Each year, the students have at least one opportunity per semester where they can put their new skills to the test in a MS wide performance. Past shows include The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Frozen Jr., Aladdin Jr., The Little Mermaid Jr., Uncle Phil’s Diner (an interactive dinner theatre) and the Lion King Jr.
