Update on Mrs. Catherine Sheats, Assistant Head of School: Last Monday Mrs. Sheats fell in the hallway, and tests confirmed a break on her humerus bone. She will be undergoing shoulder surgery on Monday, September 21st. Please join us in praying for Mrs. Sheats – for a quick and complete recovery, for relief from pain, and for wisdom for the doctors and medical team caring for her. We will be collecting notes and cards of encouragement for her in the Secondary Administrative Office. Thank you so much for surrounding Mrs. Sheats and her entire family with prayer, encouragement, and support!
Christmas on Mane is Friday, December 11, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM! We are currently seeking event sponsors who would like to support SACS while helping make this special evening possible. Mark your calendars: on September 30th, Moms in Prayer will meet in the ARCC instead of the Lion Shoppe. The ARCC is in the F Building (next to F3). This is the same building that the Secondary Admin office is located.
SACS Men – please join us Friday, October 2, from 7:00 – 7:30 AM (and every first Friday) in the ARCC (located in the secondary administrative building) for prayer, fellowship, breakfast tacos, and coffee. Before we meet you will want to order Habits of the Household HERE and read chapter one. Please RSVP HERE so we know how many tacos to purchase. Even if your book does not arrive on time, you are still welcome to join us. The purpose of this group is to grow as men and cover the SACS community in prayer.

Elementary School
PTF Mother/Daughter Paint night, Thursday, October 8th at 6:00 PM in the Elementary Gym: Click HERE for information and registration. Registration deadline is Monday, October 5th.
Picture retakes, Tuesday, Oct. 6th: Students who were absent and any new students will have their individual pictures taken. If your student needs pictures retakes, original photo package MUST be returned to school with your student on retake day. Please notify your child’s teacher by email if you want your child to have retakes. Students must wear CHAPEL UNIFORM (except for PK). Click HERE to preorder pictures for absent and new students only. Students taking retakes will receive the same package originally ordered. School ID number: EVTZDSQJQ. Order deadline is Tuesday, October 6th.
The Elementary Class Fee will be billed to family FACTS accounts by the end of September. Developed with input from parents and teachers, this annual fee helps reduce the number of requests for supplies and donated items throughout the year to support grade-level events and activities. Please refer to the Grade Level Events Year at a Glance included with teacher newsletters a few weeks ago for details on activities covered by the Class Fee.

Absences: If your student is absent, email the ES office at esoffice@sachristian.org with your student’s name and teacher. If absence is due to illness, please copy the ES nurses at esnurse@sachristian.org.
Secondary School
The Secondary Class Fee will be billed to family FACTS accounts by the end of September. This fee covers the costs of retreats, substance screening, and graduation expenses.

Texas A&M University is hosting an informational meeting for SACS seniors applying to Texas A&M on Tuesday, September 22nd at 8:00 AM in the College and Career Center in F Building.
Middle School Fanatics Week is next Monday – Thursday. Dr. Warner’s recent newsletter shared the details.
High School Homecoming Dance: Be sure to click HERE for more information and click HERE to purchase your ticket! The cost is $65 dollars per ticket through September 20th, and after that the price rises to $80. The first 300 who purchase a ticket will receive a free t-shirt.
The Christian College Fair will be held on Monday, September 21, 6:00-8:00 PM at the Christian School at Castle Hills. Students MUST register HERE. Students who attend and sign in with Dr. Rebmann will receive free spirit civvies.

Athletics
Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is meeting on Thursday, September 24th. MS meets at 7:20 AM in the MS gym and HS meets during H period in the HS gym.
Legacy Bricks – Purchase a personalized SACS Legacy Brick (4” x 8”) to be permanently displayed near Greg Hotchkiss Memorial Field. This is a special way to honor a student, graduate, family, or memory while supporting SACS Athletics. $150 for 3 engraved lines (16 characters max per line). Add a symbol: $25. Bricks will be placed by SACS, no pickup required. Deadline Nov. 1st. CLICK HERE to order.
