Elementary School
Grandparent/Grandpal Day is Friday, September 11th from 8:30 -11:30 AM. In place of chapel services on Wednesday, September 9th, students will practice for our Grandparents’ Day performance. Instead of chapel that day, students will enjoy Worship Wednesday in their classrooms. Please send students in chapel dress. On Friday, September 11, all ES students will be dismissed at 11:30 AM to encourage time together. Due to limited space, this event is for grandparents/grandpals only. CLICK HERE to register.
Elementary Yearbooks: Preorder for $35 HERE. Price increases to $45 after October 9th.
Absences: If your student is absent, email the ES office at esoffice@sachristian.org with your student’s name and teacher. If absence is due to illness, please copy the ES nurses at esnurse@sachristian.org.
Secondary School
High School Retreat: Be sure to CLICK HERE for all the details about the upcoming high school retreat. Be sure to complete the REQUIRED waiver and health form for your student HERE. Seniors depart on Tuesday, September 15 and all other HS students depart Wednesday, September 16.
Middle School MAP Testing will occur September 15-17. MAP testing is our school’s standardized assessment which occurs three times during the school year. Results are shared with parents in early summer. Be sure your student’s tablets are fully charged on assessment days.
The Christian College Fair will be held on Monday, September 21, 6:00-8:00 PM at the Christian School at Castle Hills.
College Visits: UTSA – Thursday, September 10; University of Redlands (CA) – Friday, Sept 11. Visits are held in the SLC lobby during the HS lunch period.
Junior class: Dr. Rebmann will meet with juniors during Bible classes on Wed, Sept 9th and Thurs, Sept 10th to discuss college applications and answer questions.

Senior Yearbook Ads: Parents, CLICK HERE for information on ordering a yearbook ad for your senior! Deadline to purchase is January 31, 2027. The link can also be found on the SACS App under the Fine Arts section.
Graduation Time Change: The time for graduation on Saturday, May 15th has been moved to 9:00 AM. CBC has added an early afternoon church service to their Saturday schedule which necessitated us moving up the start time of graduation.

Athletics
FALL Athletic Fee: if your student is playing a fall sport, your family will be billed next week through FACTS.
Legacy Bricks – Purchase a personalized SACS Legacy Brick (4” x 8”) to be permanently displayed near Greg Hotchkiss Memorial Field. This is a special way to honor a student, graduate, family, or memory while supporting SACS Athletics. $150 for 3 engraved lines (16 characters max per line). Add a symbol: $25.
