My Story
I have been part of the SACS community for many years, and it has always held a special place in my heart. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, I taught Earth Science at SACS and had the privilege of helping launch Canvas on our campus. Those years allowed me to experience firsthand the strong academics, Christ-centered mission, and genuine sense of community that make SACS so unique.
After stepping away from the classroom to invest in my family and cherish the early years with my child, God, in His perfect timing, led me back to SACS. Today, I have the joy of experiencing this community from two perspectives: as a teacher and as a parent of an Elementary student.
What church do you attend?
Great Oaks Fellowship
What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?
The people! I cannot imagine a more caring, invested, and Christ focused group of people to invest in our students with than those found here at SACS. They are a passionate group of people who love Jesus and are committed to supporting our students.
Favorite Bible verse
“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.” – 2 Timothy 1:7
What are your hobbies and interests?
My hobbies include making messy, creative memories with my little girl, serving as a “consulting manager” for the woodworking business my husband and I are building together, sampling new tea flavors while finding space for my ever-growing mug collection, and hunting for the best red salsa in town.
