My Story

My wife, Amber, and I have been married since 2005, and we have three children Isaac, Elijah, and Abrielle. I’ve been in Christian education since 2002, serving in many different roles including: teacher, coach, bus driver, missions trips, Assistant Principal, Principal, Associate Head of School, and Head of School. Middle School has always been my favorite age group, and I am thrilled to serve at SACS as the MS Principal. What I love about working in Christian Education is the opportunity we have daily to influence our students’ lives for Christ in the classroom, hallways, and all the extracurricular activities. God has great things in store for our students, and we get to help hone and train the talents and abilities he has given to them so that they might make an enormous difference on the kingdom of God.

What church do you attend?

Our family is actively looking for a church to attend.

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?

My favorite thing about SACS is our Middle School students. This is such a fun age filled with growth, energy, physical and spiritual development, and more. You never know what a day will bring in the life of the middle school, but each day is fun and presents a new opportunity for MS students to learn more about how much God loves them and how they should love others.

Favorite Bible Verse

Isaiah 40:28-31 – “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”

Hobbies and Interests

My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. In my free time I enjoy fishing, hunting, and almost anything active outdoors. I also enjoy watching college football and basketball.
