Lion Pride at SACS

Lion Pride

One of the most significant ways to experience the SACS community is to attend an athletic event on campus. Our Friday Night Lights football games right in the heart of our campus are an experience like no other. Families flood our campus well before the games begin, enjoying tailgate parties and the most family-friendly, safe environment you can imagine. Parents, students, alumni, and the littlest of lions enjoy rallying together when the Lions take the field, whether that is football, soccer, baseball, softball, track and field, or cross country. The high school students provide unified support for all our athletic teams, including filling the gym bleachers for basketball and volleyball games. We invite you to a game to come ROAR with us

After School Care & Programs

Our after school programs are designed to provide a positive social-emotional atmosphere for elementary children. The focus is to support and encourage success in all aspects of their development. With a skilled team of teachers and caregivers, students are provided with indoor and outdoor activities, nutritional snacks and homework assistance.

The SACS after school programs extend the school day in a fun, nurturing atmosphere. Students may enroll in art programs, the Roaring Recorder ensemble, various hands-on science programs, French club, Spanish Club, American Heritage Girls, and other active programs involving mat ball and gaga ball.

4-H

Our SACS 4-H club is a thriving club that prepares students for a lifetime of leadership, personal growth, and empowerment through hands-on experience. Students learn life skills such as public speaking, time management, and responsibility by leading projects in many areas. We offer an array of projects to choose from such as riflery, baking, archery, gardening, raising market goats and lambs, and poultry.  Students will learn compassion, ability to work well with others, and develop resilience all with the guidance of adult mentors who provide a positive and engaging experience.

Students may join 4-H as early as third grade and continue through high school graduation. Monthly meetings led by the students give them opportunities to work together to plan community events, review competitions and successes, and enjoy fellowship. 4-H meetings are a family affair and parent involvement is encouraged. Our parent volunteers allow new projects to be formed and run successfully. In 4-H true leaders are not born – they’re grown!

What Students Say

Karis Nietz

High School Student

“I love that the teachers and faculty have encouraged me to live up to my full potential and truly care about my wellbeing. For the past twelve years at SACS, I have enjoyed every moment as a part of this amazing, welcoming community. At SACS, I received an excellent education, I improved as an athlete, and the environment helped me grow my faith.”

Jack Buffington

High School Student

“My favorite moment at SACS was our Junior Retreat. It not only was a lot of fun but it showed the comradery that my classmates had with each other. From the legendary wrestling matches in the lake to the quiet time we took to relax in His presence, I would say that is when I felt most satisfied with my years at SACS.”

Katelyn Siebert

High School Student

“The best part of SACS is athletics. Being on a SACS sports team is like having a second family. You have a bond with the other players on the team that is unexplainable. SACS Sports bring people together to celebrate and cheer each other on. The atmosphere is very good at SACS.”

Aubrie Hutson

High School Student

"What I love most about SACS is the family environment that the campus exudes. At SACS there is something for everyone; whether it’s a theater performance or crowding into the stands with friends while cheering at football games. At SACS, I feel like I’m part of a big family.
