My Story
I grew up with an agricultural background in eastern New Mexico, but migrated away from the dust to college at Lubbock Christian University in 2014. I continued east and now Bulverde has been my home since 2023. I am a dog mom, daughter, sister and my favorite–an aunt of many! I started teaching in 2018, and God has shown me that Christian education is what I am passionate about. I see such purpose in training students to know God, learn about Him, and live for Him in this life.
What church do you attend?

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?
Teaching is my favorite pastime! I love that a day can include both glitter glue projects and meaningful lessons about the wonder of God’s creation. I see it as a privilege to help steward students’ hearts toward a deep understanding that their lives have purpose and that they were created with intentionality and care. To me, teaching in a Christian setting means shaping the next generation through a Biblical foundation.
Favorite Bible verse
Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
What are your hobbies and interests?
I love to go on walks, read on my porch, visit our family sheep and chickens, and visit the beach every chance I get!
