My Story

I’ve been married to my husband since 2006, and together we have four amazing children who all attend SACS. My husband was in the Army before becoming the Freshman Bible teacher at SACS in 2021. We have lived all over and we’ve loved the adventure of moving, but we are excited to plant roots here in San Antonio and at SACS for years to come. I’ve coached softball and have a deep love for athletics and the life lessons they teach. While I enjoy working with students of all ages, “the littles” have truly captured my heart. It’s a joy to help guide and encourage the next generation to love Jesus, live with purpose, and grow in their faith.

What church do you attend?

Stone Oak Bible Church

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?

I’m incredibly thankful to be part of a school that keeps Christ and the Bible at the center of everything. It’s such a gift to work in a place where faith is lived out. I also love the community. SACS really is like a second home for me and my family. I love knowing that what I do each day has eternal value. Getting to pour into students’ lives and point them to Jesus is the most rewarding part of it all.

Favorite Bible verse

Galatians 2:20 – “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

What are your hobbies and interests?

I love spending time with my family and watching my kids play sports. I enjoy playing pickleball, tennis, and ping pong. I also enjoy reading, cooking, and being outside and the beach and river.
