My Story

I’ve had a lifelong passion for math and science. In 2014, I graduated from Missouri S&T with a degree in engineering. During college, as my love for applied math deepened, God planted a dream in my heart—to one day teach calculus. For 11 years, I worked in industry, holding various engineering and analyst roles. Then, in 2024, God called me to teach. It was a whirlwind year, but He faithfully led me step by step as I followed His call. I am confident that God has called me to SACS to serve Him and His people. This is more than a job—it’s my mission field. My husband, Nick, and I were married in 2016, and we have two amazing children. I am blessed beyond measure.

What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?

It fills my heart to walk alongside my students and help them grow in their relationship with Jesus. I love that my role goes beyond preparing them for a test—I’m teaching them to think critically and become confident problem solvers. I get a front-row seat to their “ah-ha!” moments, and it’s a joy every time. It’s an honor to help prepare them for the next steps in life, both spiritually and academically.
