My Story
My wife Julie and I were married in March 2015. Our daughter Kennedy is a SACS student since kindergarten. I started teaching in the public school system in 2002, and was a coach for 13 years, so I have been all over the state of Texas. I stopped coaching when we knew Kennedy was on the way, as I didn’t want to miss out on any of her milestones. Julie and I are overjoyed with the blessing that Kennedy has been to us and others she meets. I look forward to being able to share my journey with my students in a way that public school does not embrace.
What church do you attend?
Community Bible Church
What do you love most about teaching, coaching, or working at SACS?
I have been incredibly impressed with the selflessness of every employee, and their willingness to help me in any way I have needed, which speaks to the values on which SACS operates–it’s not about me, it’s all about Him!
Favorite Bible verse
Galatians 5:22-23 – “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!”
What are your hobbies and interests?
I dabble in the guitar (self-taught); We try to get out and expose our daughter to as much nature and history as possible, in as many ways as possible.
