All Families 

  • SACS Graduation is Saturday, May 18th at 10am at CBC. We invite all families to join us as we celebrate and pray over the Class of 2024. Congratulations, SACS graduates!
  • Please note that next Friday is noon dismissal and the last day of school.
  • You received an email on 5/13 regarding the Capital Campaign Feasibility Study. CLICK HERE to view the 3-minute video fly-through featuring the architectural renderings of the projects mentioned. The deadline to complete the questionnaire, which is also attached HERE, is May 31st. 
  • In case you missed it, CLICK HERE for the 2024-2025 Academic Calendar. The Events Calendar will be posted this summer.
  • Please note that the Lion Shoppe (which sells uniforms and spirit gear) will be closed from May 27 - June 30th. It will re-open on July 1st for parent car tag pickup and uniform purchases. From July 1 to August 2nd, it will be open from 8am - 3pm M-Th and 8am-noon on Friday. 
  • During the summer, School Offices (including Athletic Office) will have special hours and be open M-Th 8am-3pm and Friday 8am-noon from May 27 - August 2nd.
  • FINE ARTS FENCE SIGNS are ready to be taken home. Signs for MS and HS students are ready to be picked up in the Student Services Office. Thank you for supporting Behind the Lions booster club!
  • Summer at SACS:  Fun and engaging camps for all ages and interests.  Summer camps and courses may be registered and paid for online by clicking either the course title OR the individual week/session if applicable within the course description. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.  CLICK HERE to view the catalog. 
  • We are looking for a PK-2nd grade Elementary Teacher, Head Football Coach, Chief Strategic Advancement Officer, Part-Time Nurse, and After School Care workers. CLICK HERE for more information and to apply.

Elementary School
  • Thursday, May 23rd- Last Day for PK and 5th Grade (End of Year Party info communicated via Room Mom)
  • Thursday, May 23rd- 5th Grade Moving Up Ceremony at 8:30am in the SLC (Early Dismissal for 5th Grade)
  • Friday, May 24th- Kinder Celebration in the cafeteria at 8:30am
  • Friday, May 24th- 1st-4th grades End of Year Breakfast and Field Day (Half Day for students, no ASC)
  • Elementary School parent volunteer Gratitude Chapel: If you have volunteered in any capacity in the ES this school year, we would like to invite you to our last chapel service of the year to say a HUGE thank you! Monday, May 20th from 8:00-8:30am in the ES gym. This will be a combined (PK-5th) very informal chapel service. Drop off your kiddos in regular carpool, park, and come as you are into the gym!
  • It's time to order your school supplies for the 2024-2025 school year! Skip the lines and crowds and order through EPI.  Supply kits are delivered directly to the school, and the school receives a small portion of the proceeds, which are used to bless our teachers.  CLICK HERE to place your order. Enter school ID SAN074 (3 letters/3numbers). Deadline to order is June 16th. No late orders accepted.   • Be sure to order your ES yearbook! Deadline to order is May 31st. CLICK HERE to place your order.
  • If your student is going to be absent, please email the office at esoffice@sachristian.org as well as the teacher and nurse klewis@sachristian.org if sickness is involved. 

Secondary School 

  • High School Graduation is at CBC on Saturday, May 18th at 10am. All 8th – 11th grade students are expected to participate and arrive by 9:30am in full winter dress uniform (including v-neck sweater and tie for all students)
  • Any current 6th - 11th graders interested in auditioning for the Praise and Worship Team should complete this application and follow all directions.  Next year Mr. Jason Westbrook will be heading up the praise team with the assistance of Mrs. Pritz. All auditions should be submitted to Mrs. Pritz (kpritz@sachristian.org) by Friday, May 31.  For questions, please reach out to her.

  • Junior Retreat is May 21-23. Be sure to read the email from Mrs. Meisenheimer which includes the packing list and other important information.

  • May 22nd is 8th Grade Awards at 1pm in the SLC - this is also the 8th graders' last day of school

  • May 24th is 6th and 7th grade awards ceremony at 10am in the SLC – students dismissed at conclusion of the ceremony

Athletics

  • LionBacker Booster is looking for fun and outgoing high school  students interested in performing as our SACS mascot.   CLICK HERE for more information.
  • Athletic Fence Signs are ready to be taken home. They can be picked up in the athletic office by May 24th. 
  • The Lion Shoppe has quite a few orders from this year which have not yet been picked up. CLICK HERE to see if you are on the list. All items not picked up by May 24th will be donated or discarded.

The Class of 2024 has received a total of 385 acceptances from 101 different colleges and universities throughout the United States in Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Arkansas, Colorado, Virginia, Iowa, Illinois, Montana and California. The graphic to the right represents many of the school acceptances.
 
The Class of 2024 has earned over 7.5 MILLION DOLLARS in academic and merit-based scholarships!
