“His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us to His own glory and excellence.

2 Peter 1:3

During the fun and busyness of the Christmas season, it’s good to pause and remember the incredible privilege we have of instant access to God’s Word, a gift that previous generations could hardly imagine. Scripture contains everything we need for life, godliness, and making wise decisions. Every word contributes to the grand story of His glory and purposes for us. Just as Jesus relied on the Word to resist temptation and prayed that His people would be sanctified in truth, we too must nourish our hearts and minds daily. As parents and educators, may we remind our children not to take this treasured access to God’s Word for granted, but to delight in the living Word that draws us into deeper knowledge, trust and relationship with Him.
