Help students learn skills and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christians to the praise and glory of God.
Responsible for teaching and educating students according to the educational needs, abilities, and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to his/her care by the Parents, Principals, Superintendent, and the Board of Directors.
Maintain high standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity in all personal and professional matters.
Create a curriculum map for the school year. Develop standards-based unit and lesson plans.
Develop, plan, and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment and reflect an understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned.
Integrate Biblical principals and Christian philosophy of education throughout the curriculum and all activities.
Graduate Degree in field of teaching from an accredited college or university.
State Certification is preferred.
Possess and maintain certification or be willing to obtain the certification within the first year of teaching.
Strong computer skills with the ability to integrate technology into curriculum to design interactive and engaging lessons.
Must have transcripts and previous Teaching Service Records.
Be a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions toward others (Luke 6:40). Ensures the work environment is Christian-based, nurturing, wholesome, and loving.
Have a conviction that God has called them to Christian school ministry.
Actively participating in a local Bible-believing church.
