Pay:

$30-$40/hour bus routes; $15-20/hour field trips & athletic events. Based on years of experience.

 

Start Date:

August 14, 2019

The Bus Driver is to ensure safe and orderly transportation of students on assigned route. Safely operate a school bus to transport students and other authorized personnel to and from schools or other designated locations.

 

Requirements:

  • Valid Texas commercial driver’s license (Class B or Class A with Passenger and School Bus Driver Endorsements) or must be willing to obtain a valid commercial driver’s license.
  • Must be 21 years old.
  • Ability to pass alcohol and drug test.
  • Ability to pass bus driver physical exam
  • Ability to complete required bus driver safety training
  • Ability to operate bus safely
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and to communicate effectively
  • Knowledge of student discipline procedure
  • Ability to manage student behavior
