Essential Job Functions

  • Help students learn skills and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christians to the praise and glory of God.
  • Responsible for teaching and educating students according to the educational needs, abilities, and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to his/her care by the Parents, Principals, Superintendent, and the Board of Directors.
  • Maintain high standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity in all personal and professional matters.
  • Create a curriculum map for the school year. Develop standards-based unit and lesson plans.
  • Develop, plan, and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment and reflect an understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned.
  • Integrate Biblical principals and Christian philosophy of education throughout the curriculum and all activities.


    • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's preferred from an accredited college or university.
    • Possess and maintain certification or be willing to obtain the certification within the first year of teaching.
    • Strong computer skills with the ability to integrate technology into curriculum to design interactive and engaging lessons.
    • Must have transcripts and previous Teaching Service Records.
    • Be a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions toward others (Luke 6:40). Ensures the work environment is Christian-based, nurturing, wholesome, and loving.
    • Have a conviction that God has called them to Christian school ministry.
    • Actively participating in a local Bible-believing church.
