Essential Job Functions

  • Creates, directs, and coordinates the ministry of the early education grades.
  • Supervises teacher aides and substitute teachers. Conducts substitute training.
  • Maintain the early education program so that it meets or exceeds the all state laws and regulations that apply to a religious program and its employees.
  • Maintain high standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity in all personal and professional matters.
  • Actively pursue professional development opportunities. Obtain and maintain appropriate certification.
  • Perform other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the Principal or Superintendent assign.


    • Advanced Degree from an accredited college or university.
    • Meet state requirements for an early education director position.
    • Must be at least 24 years of age and pass a criminal background check.
    • Complete the ACSI Principles and Practices of Christian Early Education course requirements within the first year of employment.
    • Be a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions toward others (Luke 6:40). Ensures the work environment is Christian-based, nurturing, wholesome, and loving.
